Tattoo Reveals True Identity of Suspect Who Gave False Name

Posted By on Thu, Apr 5, 2012 at 9:22 AM

When Twin Falls police arrested a 19-year-old man last Saturday, he told law enforcement his name was Emiliano Velesco. But they couldn't find any records matching that name. All they had to do next was check his forearm, where his true last name - Contreras - was tattooed. Sure enough, they found their suspect, wanted on charges of providing false information.

The Shoshone man is expected to appear in Twin Falls court on May 15, when he will presumably answer to his real name.
