Video: Idaho Bar Drops Pepsi, Coors Over Support of Gay Chamber of Commerce

A bar and grill in the blink-or-you'll-miss-it north Idaho town of Waha, near the Washington border, has pulled the plug on Pepsi products and Miller and Coors beers because of what the restaurant owners say are the beverage company's support of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.

"As Christians, we don't support that," Mike Fuller told TV station KREM.

Fuller has owned the Waha Bar and Grill with his wife Mari since 2008.

"We make our decisions on what we like, what we want to purchase and buy, and everybody else has that same right," Mari Fuller told KREM.

Meanwhile, MillerCoors responded by saying it had a strong track record of supporting the diversity of its employees and the communities in which it works.

"Due to the diversity and breadth of our consumers and because we believe in supporting the many communities we serve, we support myriad organizations across the country. The National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce is one of many organizations we are proud to support," read the statement from MillerCoors.
