Caldwell Billboard Compares President Obama to Suspect in Colorado Shooting

Posted By on Sat, Jul 28, 2012 at 9:52 AM

A controversial billboard in Caldwell shows an image of President Barack Obama alongside the image of James Holmes, the suspect in the Aurora, Colo., movie theater shooting that left 12 dead.

The digital billboard shows the face of James Holmes, with a quote reading "kills 12 in movie theater with assault rifle, everyone freaks out," next to a picture of President Obama, which reads "kills 1,000's with his foreign policy, wins Nobel Peace Prize."

KIVI Channel 6 reported that the billboard belongs to Maurice Clements, a real estate agent who paid for the billboard on his private property.

The sign is just the most-recent anti-Obama message shown on the billboard, according to the "Making Statism Unpopular" page associated with the property.
