West End of the Trinity Ridge Fire on August 25.

The Trinity Ridge Fire was expected to top 120,000 acres overnight, as the Elmore County blaze continues to rage with only 5 percent contained.

The fire became more active Saturday, but officials said the blaze didn't "make any significant runs." Crews continued to hold the lines around Featherville and south of Trinity Lake. The fire has yet to cross the North Fork of the Boise River.

Unfortunately, three members of the Bonneville Hotshots were injured Saturday when a large log rolled down an embankment into the crew. Two of the injured firefighters were transported to Boise for medical treatment. One suffered a head injury, the other had injuries to the back, neck and shoulders. To date, seven firefighters have been injured.

The firefighting cost has so far topped $20.6 million.
