Boise Police Bust Woman for Meth Possession, Man for Check Forgery

26-year-old Christina Smith is charged with drug possession and probation violation.

Boise Police say what began as a woman who failed to perform the proper signal while turning onto Fairview Avenue resulted in a drug bust.

Christina Smith of Boise, 26, is behind bars, charged with felony counts of drug possession and probation violation. Law enforcement said they found a baggie of meth, a syringe and a smoking device inside Smith's car when they stopped her vehicle on Oct. 12. She was also wanted on probation violation charges.

43-year-old Todd Olshefski is charged with forgery.

Boise Police also locked up 43-year-old Todd Olshefski of Boise on Sunday. He's charged with passing several forged checks at local merchants, totaling $1,000. Olshefski is behind bars facing a felony count of forgery.
