Three Boise Traffic Stops Net Four Felony Arrests

A series of late-night and early morning traffic stops in Boise has resulted in four people facing felony charges behind bars at the Ada County lockup.

Boise Police charged 32-year-old Shaun Friedley of Boise and 23-year old Ciera Burton of Wilder with drug possession following a traffic stop on West Airport Way Wednesday night. Law enforcement seized marijuana, meth and hydrcodone at the scene. But when the pair were booked into the Ada County Jail, a glass pipe was hidden on Burton's person, resulting in an additional felony charge of concealment of evidence.

Jeremy Olson, 33, is charged with meth possession and resisting arrest.

Also Wednesday night, Boise Police stopped 33-year-old Jeremy Olson of Boise after he allegedly conducted an illegal lane change near Overland and Orchard, but Olson took off on foot when police approached his vehicle. He was booked on charges of resisting arrest, possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.

Douglas Wells, 30, is charged with felony DUI.

Early this morning, Boise Police stopped another vehicle, driven by 30-year-old Douglas Wells of Nampa, when he allegedly drove the wrong way on Sixth Street near Grove Street. Wells failed several field sobriety tests, and since he had previous convictions, his latest DUI is a felony charge.
