Nestle Recalls Nesquik Powder

Think twice before considering that chocolate milk today.

Nestle is recalling Nesquik Chocolate Powder for possible salmonella contamination.

Nestle issued the recall after its ingredient supplier recalled some of the calcium carbonate used in the product because of potential contamination. Nestle is asking consumers to return Nesquik to the place of purchase for a full refund.

The effected products were sold in Nesquik's 10.9-, 21.8- and 40.7-ounce canisters in early October and have an expiration date of October 2013.
