Weekend Police Blotter: Theft Victims Chase Down Suspect

Napoleon St Clair is charged with burglary, probation violation and marijuana possession.

Boise Police said some partygoers took matters into their own hands Saturday night, when they hunted down a suspect accused of stealing from them at a party the previous night. When police arrived on the scene, they found 25-year-old Napoleon St. Clair of Boise being chased by four persons. Police said they recovered some of the stolen items, along with some marijuana.

St. Clair is charged with burglary, marijuana possession and probation violation.

Qasim Hussein, 27, is charged with falsely reporting explosives in a public place.

Also on Saturday, Boise Police responded to a call from security at the Boise airport after a man allegedly made a comment that there may be explosives in his baggage. Flights were delayed as police investigated and ultimately determined there was no bomb.

Nicholas Anderson, 20, is charged with aggravated assault.

Boise Police charged a man with felony assault early Sunday morning following a domestic dispute that escalated with the suspect standing in the driveway of a victim's home, holding a machete and threatening to kill him. Fearing for his safety, the victim called police, who found the suspect in a nearby home on the 2000 block of North Liberty Street.

Nicholas Anderson, 30, is being held on aggravated assault at the Ada County lockup.
