Boise Police Looking For Dognappers Who Took Orange Mohawked Poodle

A missing male Toy Poodle with an orange mohawk is valued at $1,000.

Boise Police are turning to the public to help them nab a pair of dog bandits.

Police report that a pair of young female suspects are wanted in connection with stealing a small poodle from the back of a pickup truck in a parking lot on the 8300 block of West Overland on Dec. 7. The dog's owner said the pooch, valued at $1,000, was taken while the owner went inside a store.

The dog, a male toy poodle, is described as having an orange mohawk down its back.

Police also received a tip from a concerned citizen who said he spotted the dog in the possession of two females at a store on 12th Avenue in Nampa on Dec. 8.

Police are asking anyone with information on the case to contact Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS.

Police also released a surveillance photo of the suspects taken at the Nampa store.
