Police Blotter: Two Boise Street Fights, Two Arrests

Jeffrey Van Nest Jr., 26, is charged with aggravated battery.

Boise Police reported this morning that they had arrested a Boise man, wanted in connection with a fight that occurred in downtown Boise in April 2012.

Following an investigation and subsequent arrest warrant, 26-year-old Jeffrey Van Nest Jr. was charged with aggravated battery. He's accused of kicking and punching a female victim in a fight near Fifth and Bannock streets, requiring the victim to undergo surgery.

Christopher Williams, 18, is charged with aggravated battery.

Boise Police also arrested another man in connection with a fight at a park on the 700 block of Robbins Road in June 2012.

Police said the victim, a juvenile, was struck in the face with a skateboard, resulting in a broken nose.

Christopher Williams, 18, of Boise was booked into the Ada County Jail on Wednesday, charged with a felony count of aggravated battery.

Virginia Ilett, 45, is charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, parole violation and providing alcohol to a minor.

Boise Police also assisted Idaho Probation and Parole agents Wednesday in a search of a home on the 1700 block of West Barrow Street. That's where law enforcement said they recovered meth and drug paraphernalia, and determined that a suspect had provided alcohol to a minor.

Virginia Ilett, 45, of Boise was charged with felony counts of meth possession and parole violation, and misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and providing alcohol to a minor.
