Boise Man Arrested After Being Found Unconscious in Car With Meth, Syringes and Two Children

Shannon Ferdig, 21, is charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia and injury to a child.

A Boise man is behind bars after being found unconscious behind the wheel of a running car late Wednesday afternoon outside a convenience store on the 1500 block of South Orchard Street. Police discovered two children in the vehicle at the time, along with meth, syringes and other drug paraphernalia.

The children, both under the age of 5, were declared to be in imminent danger and turned over to the custody of agents with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

Shannon Ferdig, 21, is charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia and a felony count of injury to a child.
