Samuel Lambert, 43, is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to delivery and trafficking in a controlled substance.

Boise Police were dispatched to Boise's downtown bus station Sunday just before midnight after receiving a report of drug activity at the scene.

Bus station employes told police that they confronted a male suspect after they observed what they called "odd behavior." When the suspect fled on foot, the employees said he left behind a package containing approximately 234 grams of marijuana.

When police located the suspect a short time later on North 11th Street, they said they recovered more than 57 grams of meth.

43-year-old Samuel Lambert was booked into the Ada County Jail on two felony counts, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and trafficking in a controlled substance. Lambert had no known address.

Marshall Washington, 32, is charged with injury to a child.

Also Sunday, Boise Police said they took a Boise man into custody, acting on a warrant stemming from an injury sustained by a child in January of this year. Law enforcement said evidence indicates the suspect was involved in causing the injury to the infant, who is less than one year old.

32-year-old Marshall Washington of Boise was booked on a felony count of injury to a child.
