Law enforcement in California said former Boise State University star wide receiver Titus Young ran afoul of the law—twice—on May 5.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department reports that Young, who left the Broncos following the 2010 season and played for the Detroit Lions before being released earlier this year, was arrested May 5 on suspicion of driving under the influence. And after being released from custody, hours later Young was arrested again, this time for burglary, after police said he tried to break into an impound yard where his car had been towed.

After being released by the Detroit Lions in February, Young was briefly picked up by the St. Louis Rams but that team dropped him a few days later, leaving Young without an NFL deal.

Meanwhile Boise State Head Football Coach Chris Petersen announced Tuesday that defensive end Sam Ukwuachu has been dismissed from the team for a violation of team rules. Ukwuachu started 12 games for the Broncos in 2012. Petersen would only say that Ukwuachu had "some personal things he's taking care of."
