Posted By on Wed, Oct 2, 2013 at 10:34 AM

Keith Lake, 36, is charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, intent to deliver and failure to appear on a warrant.

What started as a report of a man passed out in a Boise motel room, ended in felony drug charges overnight.

Boise Police were called to a motel at approximately 8 p.m. Oct. 1. That's where employees told police a man who was not a guest was passed out on a bed and refusing to respond to attempts to get him to leave. A check through Boise City Records indicated the man had an outstanding warrant on failure to appear charges. A search of the suspect revealed a small amount of meth, marijuana, scales and packaging materials.

36-year-old Keith Lake of Caldwell was charged with a felony count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana possession and failure to appear.

Ty Jacobsen, 29, is charged with intimidation of a states witness and violation of a no contact order.

Boise Police also report that a Nampa man was transferred to the Ada County Jail from Canyon County custody Oct. 1. The man was wanted on an arrest warrant in connection with alleged attempts to intimidate a witness in an ongoing Ada County criminal case.

29-year-old Ty Jacobsen of Nampa was charged with a felony count of intimidation of a states witness and violation of a no contact order.
