Verbree Dairies in the Magic Valley community of Wendell has set up an account at Farmers National Bank to benefit the family of a man who was killed Oct. 1st in an accident at the dairy.

The Gooding County Sheriff's Office has concluded that no criminal charges would be filed and that the death was an accident.

This morning's Twin Falls Times-News reports that 45-year-old Cecilio Gaucin, who had come to Idaho from Durango, Mexico 10 years ago on a visa, was repairing a tractor in a silage pit at Verbree Dairies when the tractor ran over him. Several workers witnessed the fatal accident.

The Times-News reports that Gaucin was known as a cautious worker but he "was lying between the front and rear tires when something went wrong."

He is survived by a wife and 5-year-old son, Cecilio Jr. The couple had been building a home in Mexico and had plans to build a home in Idaho as well.

"Cecilio wanted his son to have a home in both countries," said a cousin.
