A Nampa woman, being held held at the Canyon County Jail without bond, is scheduled to be arraigned today on a murder charge.

Nampa Police say Oct. 12, they were called to a home in the 500 block of North Franklin Street in Nampa, where they found a 34-year-old male with a stab wound to the chest. The unidentified man was pronounced dead on arrival at a local hospital.

According to law enforcement, Susana Quijano, 34, was arrested in Caldwell on Oct. 13 without incident and booked into the Canyon County jail on a charge of second-degree murder. Police said they believe Quijano and the victim were involved in a domestic dispute.

The Canyon County coroner is expected to release the identity of the victim after an autopsy.
