CATCH, Inc. Launches Avenues For Hope Campaign

Posted By on Tue, Dec 10, 2013 at 11:35 AM

Some of those fighting to move beyond the darkness of being without a home might have a brighter 2014, if CATCH, Inc. officials have their way.

Today marks the beginning of the third annual Avenues for Hope fundraising campaign. Last year, CATCH, Inc., came out a big winner, scoring first place in the 2012 campaign. This year, according to the Avenues for Hope leaderboard, the nonprofit that funds housing for homeless families for up to six months is neck and neck with Corpus Christi House's Step-Up Education Center, which assists the homeless with continuing education and developing work skills.

The Avenues for Hope grant prizes include:

The Early Bird—The first six organizations that receive 20 unique gifts greater than $25 score grants of $500.

First Place—$10,000 for the nonprofit with the largest number of donors of $25 or more.

Second Place—$7,000 for the nonprofit with the second-largest number of donors of $25 or more.

Third Place—$5,000 for the nonprofit with the third-largest number of donors of $25 or more.

Honorable Mention—Five winning nonprofits each receive $1,000 with the fourth through eighth highest number of donors gifting $25 or more.
