Posted By on Thu, Dec 12, 2013 at 10:05 AM

Boise Police are looking for a male suspect, wanted for an overnight armed robbery of a Boise Jacksons convenience store at the corner of Nez Perce and Roosevelt streets.

Police said that at approximately 9:45 p.m., a white male entered the store, pointed a handgun at the clerk and took off with some cash, running south on Roosevelt Street.

Police described the suspect as young, possibly in his early twenties or even teens. He's approximately five-feet, 10-inches tall, hazel eyes and sandy hair. The suspect was wearing a white bandana to cover his face and a red hoodie.

Boise Police are looking for 29-year-old Luke Christopher Cross.

Meanwhile, Boise Police say they know who their suspect is and need the public's help in finding the man suspected in a series of high-end bicycle thefts.

Police say 29-year-old Luke Christopher Cross tried to sell a stolen bike at a local pawn shop, but when an employee recognized that the bike had been stolen, police say Cross broke a large glass door trying to escape before police arrived on the scene. Police also say that when a store employee tried to chase Cross, the suspect attempted to hit the employee with his vehicle before driving away.

Law enforcement said Cross is wanted in connection with a string of thefts, many of them drug-related, dating back to mid-September.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
