Exit Bob Cooper, Enter Todd Dvorak As Idaho AG Spokesman

Bob Cooper, communication director of the Idaho Attorney General's Office and one of the really good eggs in state government, is retiring Friday.

In his usual, get-to-the-point style, Cooper, 61, sent out a very brief statement Friday, confirming that he was retiring after 17 years in the AG's Office.

"This will be my last day in the office," wrote Cooper. "I've enjoyed working with the people here in the AG's Office and in the media."

Cooper is being replaced by Todd Dvorak, the former head of the Boise Associated Press bureau. Dvorak has been with the AP for 13 years and has served as supervisory correspondent at the Boise AP bureau since 2007.
