It's been a tough year for Garden City's Stagecoach Inn Restaurant.

In January 2013, the Stagecoach had its liquor license temporarily seized by the state and filed for bankruptcy. The restaurant's owners re-grouped, got their liquor license back and kept the doors open.

But now, owners of The Stagecoach Inn say they'll be closing for good this Saturday, Jan. 18.

The Stagecoach opened in 1959, and hasn't changed a great deal since, serving countless steaks, shrimp and beers for more than a half-century.

The sign outside of the Chinden Boulevard restaurant usually boasted, "The Best Prawns in Town."

But that will only be true for a few more days.
