Police Seize 14 Pounds of Pot in Boise Bust

Steven Kittelson, 53, is charged with possession of meth and marijuana with intent to deliver.

A Boise man was sent to the Ada County lockup, facing multiple drug charges after police seized more than 14 pounds of marijuana from a Boise residence.

Boise Police were called to a report of a battery at a home near North Whitewater Park Boulevard and West Main Street March 15. A witness signed a citation for battery, and during the course of the investigation, police said they could smell a strong odor coming from the residence. That's when Boise Police Narcotics detectives obtained and served search warrants, netting total package weight of 14 pounds, 13 ounces of marijuana, along with 7 grams of methamphetamine.

Steven Kittelson, 53, of Boise was booked into the Ada County Jail on felony charges of possession of meth and marijuana with the intent to deliver.
