Early Voting Gets Under Way April 21 in Canyon County; Ada County Begins April 28

In anticipation of the Tuesday, May 20, Primary Election, in which Idaho voters will select GOP and Democratic standard-bearers for the Idaho House and Senate and the state's top constitutional offices, including governor and secretary of state, early voting will get under way this Monday, April 21, at the Canyon County Elections Office on East Chicago Street in Caldwell. The Canon County early voting will be held each weekday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Friday, May 16.

In Ada County, early voting gets under way on Monday, April 28, at the Ada County Elections Office on North Benjamin Lane. In addition to weekday opportunities, Ada County will also offer early voting on Saturday, May 10.

Additionally, absentee ballots requests are being taken at elections offices across Idaho. The requests must be received by Wednesday, May 14, and absentee ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. on Primary Day.
