Officials at a North Idaho church say a burglary at the horse of worship may have been an inside job.

This morning's Coeur d'Alene Press reports that more than $10,000 worth of equipment and musical instruments have gone missing from the New Life Church in Rathdrum.

But the instruments were taken from from a locked music room and an employee of the church said he believes "the culprit is someone who has access to the key to the music room," according to the Press. According to a police report, the key to the room is "secure only by having the knowledge of where it is kept.

A church employee told the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office that he was "shocked" that someone had stolen such a large amount of equipment from the church.
