Charles Capone, 53, was convicted Wednesday of the 2010 murder of his estranged wife, Rachael Anderson, who was last seen alive at Capone's Moscow auto repair shop on April 16, 2010.

A jury deliberated for three and a half hours Sept. 16 before returning to 2nd District Court Wednesday and handing down a first-degree murder conviction.

A co-defendant, David Stone, had testified that he witnessed Capone kill Anderson and then helped dispose of her body in the Snake River. Her body was never found.

Prosecutors had argued that Capon terrorized Anderson and stalked her weeks before her disappearance. But Capone's lawyer insisted that there was no physical evidence to suggest foul play.

Capone declined to testify in his own defense.
