2015 Legislature: Look Familiar?

Posted By on Wed, Nov 5, 2014 at 10:37 AM

The 2015 edition of the Idaho Legislature will look very familiar, with Republicans keeping a strong hold on the state Senate and House.

In the Treasure Valley, one of the closest races was in Legislative District 15, where GOP incumbent Lynn Luker was able to secure 51.6 percent of the vote compared to Democratic challenger Steve Berch's 48.3 percent. Luker inspired more than a few headlines during the 2014 legislative session, when he proposed a series of bills designed to shield Idaho businesses that refuse service or employment to individuals who don't share the same faith values.
