Two Bear Air has flown to Idaho's rescue on multiple occasions. Based in Whitefish, Mont., the search and rescue aviation teams provide service to law enforcement agencies throughout the region, with zero cost to taxpayers, thanks to the generosity of philanthropist Mike Goguen.

And on Sunday, Nov. 16, Two Bear Air flew to the rescue in Idaho County.

"We're flying back from Idaho County after hoisting four people off some rugged cliffs," they posted on their Facebook page Sunday.

Idaho State Search and Rescue had made multiple unsuccessful attempts to rescue two individuals who were stranded in the remote area, so Two Bear came in and pulled them and two rescuers to safety.

"This wraps up an amazing weekend for Two Bear Air," wrote company officials. It turns out that they also performed a night hoist—requiring night vision goggles—near McCall and rescued a canoeist who overturned in Bitterroot Lake.

"We have trained for all of these missions," they wrote. "But you never know when it will get real."
