Another Accident on Eastbound I-84, Officials Warn of Black Ice

Posted By on Wed, Dec 17, 2014 at 10:19 AM

For the second time in as many days, a crash has blocked a section of Interstate 84.

Elmore County Sheriffs deputies report that a semitrailer rolled over near the the Glenns Ferry exit of I-84, blocking at least one eastbound lane. Law enforcement said no other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Black ice has been reported on stretches of I-84 in southwest Idaho and Idaho State Police are urging caution.

On Tuesday, a sleepy driver was blamed for a pileup near the Gowen Road exit of the eastbound I-84. Three vehicles were involved in that accident, which resulted in one driver being taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
