Idaho 'Hit List' Suspect Investigated for Continuing Threats From Behind Bars

A North Idaho boy, already charged with creating a so-called "hit list" containing dozens of names, is now suspected of making threats from behind the bars of a Coeur d'Alene jail cell.

The suspect was arrested in November after two separate lists were discovered at Kellogg High School. But now, KREM-TV is reporting that the Shoshone County sheriff says the boy is being investigated for threatening a specific student at the school while the suspect was locked up at the Kootenai County Juvenile Facility in Coeur d'Alene. The alleged victim was reportedly on one of the suspect's original hit lists.

KREM reports that the alleged victim has been notified, as well as his parents. Shoshone County Sheriff Mitch Alexander said the latest threat "could help the prosecutor in the case hold the suspect in juvenile jail for a longer time."
