Original Post 10:04 a.m.:

Ada County Sheriff's detectives are investigating what happened to three people found dead late Tuesday morning in a foothills home in north Ada County.

A family member, who hadn't heard from residents of the home on North Cartwright Road since Sunday, went to check on them Tuesday and reported finding suspicious circumstances.

Deputies found signs of a struggle inside the home, which is near Pierce Park Road. Evidence found there suggests foul play.

The victims have been tentatively identified, but their names will not be released until the Ada County Coroner's office has completed autopsies and determined the manner and cause of their deaths.
