Ada County Planner Heads To Hubble Homes

Posted By on Thu, May 3, 2007 at 4:00 AM

Gerry Armstrong, who has led Ada County's planning and development department, has now taken a position with one of the companies he used to regulate.

In a statement released this morning, Armstrong announced he'll now be working for Hubble Homes, one of the valley's largest developers.

Armstrong's last day will be May 16.

In the three years since he's been at the helm, Armstrong has presided over a massive growth in subdivisions and new development within Ada County, including many by his new employer.

They include whoppers like Avimor, which will turn a series of quiet hills out Highway 55 into a bustling, state-of-the-art development that is already under construction.
