Drugs are on our minds here at BW. It's true. We used to sit around in our nice air-conditioned offices, cranking out papers every week, just day dreaming about a wonder drug that makes us smarter, more efficient and less cranky. Then we found it: the super drug. It can be ingested orally in various liquid forms—or if you're really desperate—popped in pill form available over the counter. In fact, there's not a single person in our office building at Sixth and Broad who's not addicted to it.

Mmmm, caffeine. (We also boast a few nicotine addictions.)

But we need your help.

Boise Weekly is conducting informal research on drug use in the Treasure Valley, and we want to hear what you have to say. And we don't need to know your name.

Do your co-workers use drugs on or off the job? Have you been to a social gathering in the valley where drugs were being used? Do you use drugs occasionally or regularly?

All drugs are fair game: marijuana, cocaine, prescription drugs, alcohol, tobacco, methamphetamines, psychedelics ... you name it, we want to hear about it.

We want your true stories. Not your name, your friends' names, your employer's name, not even the name of your first pet. Of course, if you want to tell us the make of your car, we're all ears.

However, we are interested in demographics. Are you a 19-year-old wake-and-baker who works at a fast-food joint, or is your friend a 30-something parent and professional who snorts a line every so often?

We've created a separate blog spot for your comments, so that you can post without being archived or linked to any Boise Weekly databases or records. Your anonymity is completely protected.
