Your Latest Larry Craig Installment

Posted on Thu, Aug 21, 2008 at 4:00 AM

More than a year since the infamous "wide stance" restroom story broke, Sen. Larry Craig will appear Sept. 10 before the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

In June 2007, Craig was arrested for what police say was behavior soliciting sex in a bathroom in Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. He pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct, a decision Craig said he made hoping the whole incident would stay under wraps. That tack didn't work so well.

In September 2007, Minnesota Judge Charles Porter denied Craig's attempt to reverse his guilty plea. Next month, Craig heads back to court to appeal the judge's ruling.

Here's a site to bookmark: www.mncourts.gov. The court will post a video archive of the proceedings round about noon on Sept. 10.
