The Dodos Head Back to Boise

It’s only a matter of time until The Dodos and Boise get married.

After professing their love for the City of Trees following last year’s Alive After Five, The Dodos took the courtship a step further. For their latest album, Time to Die, they decided to work with Built To Spill’s long-time producer/engineer/mixer Phil Ek. And now, the ring on our collective finger? They’re coming back to town to play the Neurolux on Saturday, Oct. 24.

It’s pretty obvious: they dig us

This time around, the Dodos have added a permanent third member, 21-year-old Keaton Snyder on vibraphone, to compliment frontman Meric Long’s wild strumming and drummer Logan Kroeber’s boot-stomping percussion. Though their new album doesn’t come out until Sept. 15, complete with an extra track on the vinyl version, it's already a top seller on Amazon.

If this upcoming Dodos show is anything as rad as last July’s AA5 performance, Boise might just have to strap some cans to the back of our ride and drive off into the sunset with these lads.
