Though it might seem like The Beatles’ music is continually being repackaged and rereleased—like "The Beatles Anthology" series, Love, 1 or Live at the BBC—in fact, it’s been 22 years since The Beatles' first 12 albums were remastered and released on CD. Now that digital sound technology has progressed so markedly, Apple Corps and EMI decided it was time to give the tweaking another go.

After four years of work, the following remastered albums—which include expanded booklets, previously unseen photos, new liner notes and mini-documentaries on the making of each album—will be available to fans tomorrow, Sept. 9, 2009: Please Please Me, With the Beatles, A Hard Day’s Night, Beatles for Sale, Help!, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour, The Beatles (The White Album), Abbey Road, Let It Be and Yellow Submarine. There will also be a two-CD release of the group’s Past Masters album, which features a collection of The Beatles’ non-album singles.

The Record Exchange will celebrate these releases by hosting a before and after listening party Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. on an audiophile system from The Stereo Shoppe. In addition, they’ll also have two different remastered box sets available for superfans—the mono box set ($269.99) and the stereo box set ($229.99), both of which sold out on Amazon today. And the icing on the reinvigorated Beatlesmania cake? Tomorrow is also the release of The Beatles Rockband video game.

Here’s one final incentive to come together the Record exchange tomorrow: For the first week only, if you buy two remastered albums at $9.99 each, they’ll throw in a free limited edition Beatles lithograph.
