AP Fall Ball Tonight at Knitting Factory

Posted By on Wed, Oct 7, 2009 at 4:24 PM

Tonight’s Alternative Press Fall Ball bill at Knitting Factory just got a little bit more local. Not only will Boise pop-punk fans be able to catch The Academy Is—whose album Fast Times at Barrington High ranked 46 on Rolling Stone's 50 Best Albums of the Year in 2008—they’ll now also be able to hear tunes from Boise’s own acoustic indie-poppers Bank, who are replacing pop punk/hardcore act Set Your Goals on tonight’s tour stop.

Other bands rounding out the bill include Tallahassee, Fla.'s Mayday Parade, electronic pop project The Secret Handshake and adorably colorful British emo-rockers You Me At Six.

According to the AP Web site: “The most creatively dressed fans at each date will get to skip to the front of the line, watch their favorite bands backstage, be in a photo shoot for and more.” For inspiration, here are the winners from last night’s show at Salt Lake City’s In the Venue.
