Who Needs iTunes?

BWHQ shares its building (and an interior door) with The Venue. We watch buses pull up outside and bands load out equipment; we listen to the thump-thump-thump of drums, the occasional "I Am Iron Man" guitar riff and, like right now, a "HEY! HEY! HEY!" as the bands test the sound system. When the shows are in full swing, we can hear it all.

Tonight's lineup promises to be a great one: Wichita, Kan.-based poppy indie rockers Abandon Kansas (who are signed to Christian label Gotee Records), locals Bank and We Won the Science Fair and Minnesota-based Christian punk group Children 18:3.

By the way, Bank recently released a terrific EP, The Alive, in which the Bros. Keck—Andrew and Dan—reveal a strong affinity for finely-crafted pop (and the press kit for it is brilliant).

Doors open in about five minutes, show starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10.
