Old-School Cool From Harvey Krishna

Posted By on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 6:12 PM

Each time they have a show coming up, local band Harvey Krishna sends a vintage postcard to Boise Weekly to let us know where they're playing.

The tram postcard arrived earlier this week with info about their show tonight at Terrapin Station opening for locals Le Fleur andMalachi. Show starts at 9 p.m.

Harvey Krishna is a self-described "guitars and drums hard-pop trio" made up of 50-somethings Deanne and Harvey Tawney on guitar and vocal duties and drummer Gerald Valle. They play all original tunes that Harvey said can best be categorized as "catchy but deep ... kind of punky stuff."

Harvey Krishna doesn't have a yourspace, mytube, headbook or tweety account, so if you want to see them, keep an eye on the music listings at boiseweekly.com. I'll let you know when I get another postcard.
