NPR's Renee Montagne on her Community Radio Roots

In our citizen interview this week with NPR's West Coast Morning Edition host Renee Montagne, we asked her about getting her start in radio at KPOO in San Francisco in the 1970's. Montagne observed that she never thought of herself as a reporter in those days or even as a radio personality; she saw it more like community theater.

Renee Montagne comes to Boise this week to support Boise State Radio. You can hear her at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Egyptian. Tickets are $10 for students and $20 for the public and can be purchased by calling 208-426-3663.
