Move over, Lance Armstrong and Team Radioshack.

Step aside, Tour de France.

The Treasure Valley has its own epic adventure on two wheels. Bright and early Saturday morning, George's Cycles and Fitness of Boise kicks off the Fifth Annual Lyle Pearson 200. For 200 miles, four-person teams of cyclists will pedal from Boise to Sun Valley as fast as they can. The cool thing about this race is that it's handicapped so that teams are given time bonuses for, say, having a cumulative weight over 750 pounds. With such a hilly course, gravity is the worst enemy to speed, but special rules make a victory possible for anyone.

The biggest challenge for any potential winner just might be the weather. Hello, record spring rainfall.
