Boise Bicycle Project in Running for $250k Grant From Pepsi

Pepsi is running a contest searching for best ideas on how to "refresh" the gulf coast after the oil spill. The winning ideas will receive grants up to $250,000. And you get to vote.

In the running is the Boise Bicycle Project, who want to purchase, renovate and expand their facility to further their mission of bringing bicycles to your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.

The BBP is currently sitting at 190th out of 272 in the rankings, but voting stays open until Sept. 30.
