World AIDS Day, Wednesday, Dec. 1

Several events are happening in honor of World AIDS day today and while we're a little late in getting this information up, there's still plenty of time to show your support for those who lives have been affected by this disease:

Candlelight Vigil—In honor of World AIDS Day and in remembrance of those who’ve been infected. 6-8 p.m. FREE. Ann Morrison Park, Americana Blvd. Dress warm.

Cut-A-Thon—Get your haircut for a cause. All proceeds go to Allies Linked for the Prevention of HIV and AIDS (a.l.p.h.a.). 2-6 p.m. $10. Hair Masters, 951 E. Parkcenter Blvd. Look gorgeous for a good cause.

Free HIV Testing—Free, confidential HIV testing and counseling. 8 a.m.-5 p.m. FREE. Boise State Student Union Building, 1910 University Drive, 208-426-INFO, union.boisestate.edu. Know your status.
