Need Something To Do Today?

Posted By on Tue, Jan 11, 2011 at 1:25 PM

If you’re in downtown Boise tonight, go for it. If you were in a more conservative part of Idaho, you might consider it more carefully, Actually, if you were elsewhere in Idaho it might not even be feasible. We’re talking about the option to socialize with a bunch of atheists. It’s happening tonight and you are invited.

Idaho Atheists, a group of self described “free-thinkers and humanists” meets monthly to help promote their belief “that atheism plays an integral part in a healthy and sensible lifestyle” and to renew interest in the group throughout the community. Oh, and to throw a few back. They’ve reserved the entire basement of Tom Grainey’s at 109 S. Sixth St., so that’s probably not entirely out of the question.

Discourse begins at 7:30 p.m., and the party (uh, meeting) goes until 11:30 p.m.
