Dates Set for 2011 i48

Posted By on Fri, Jan 28, 2011 at 1:31 PM

The i48 is Boise's unaffiliated version of the 48-Hour Film Fest, in which teams of filmmakers must make an entire short film from scratch in the space of 48 hours. Teams are given a single line of dialogue, the name of a character, an assigned genre and a prop to guide them out of the creative vacuum.

Festival organizers have just set the date for this year's competition and screenings:

Competition will run June 3-June 5, with screenings of the completed films scheduled for Saturday, June 11, at The Flicks and a best-of showing Sunday, June 12, at The Egyptian Theatre.

Earlybird deadline for entry is Saturday, May 21, and updated entries will be online soon. Visit i48's Facebook page for more information.
