When the hunting seasons end, the sportsman shows begin. After all, hunters need something to do until turkey season starts.

The Idaho Sportsman Expo runs March 3-6 at the Expo Center, and you better hold on to your bright orange hat. The show has more than 90 vendors from all across the world, a casting completion, a fishing pond for kids and all different kinds of seminars.

In particular, don’t miss the Safari Clubs Game Trailer. It is kid friendly and includes a touchable taxidermy exhibit of dozens of different animals.

Hours for the event are Thurs.-Fri., 5-9 p.m.; Sat., 11 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sun., 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors (62 and older), FREE for children younger than 12. Check out the seminar schedule for details.
