International Women's Day: Celebrate Tonight

Posted By on Tue, Mar 15, 2011 at 6:09 PM

International Women's Day celebrates those dedicated to relief efforts by and for women.

It may be a day recognized globally, but you can join in a local celebration right now with a silent auction, raffle, entertainment and a variety of ethnic food with the 11th Annual International Women's Day Celebration by the Agency for New Americans. All proceeds of tonight's events benefit refugees new to the Boise area in the resettlement process.

The event is happening at the Red Lion Downtowner until 9 p.m. tonight. Tickets are $25.

If you can't make it tonight, you can make a donation online by clicking here.
