Need Something To Do Friday?

Shhh … It’s a secret. Oh wait. That only applies to most flash mobs, but not this time. That’s because there’s some prep work involved for safety’s sake with this one. You’re going to need some gear to make it up Bogus Basin Road on a bike in the dark.

That’s right. The Moonlight Bogus Ride is tonight, and you are invited to get on your bike, get yourself to the Bogus Basin/Lulu’s parking lot on Bogus Basin Road by 9 p.m. and participate in this “flash ride,” which takes you nine miles up the mountain. Once there, Boise Fry Company will be waiting with a food truck to reward you (for a small fee) with fries and such for your moxie and physical endurance.

Other than a bike and a little bit of crazy, you are going to need front and back lights and a helmet in order to participate. Visit Boise Bike Week's Facebook page for more info.
