Need Something To Do Thursday?

Posted By on Thu, Jul 7, 2011 at 7:00 AM

Boise Bike Week ran from May 15-21. A second bike festival, Pedal for the People, ran from June 10-25. For most forms of transportation or recreation, that would be enough. But from crossing the country on them to tricking them out beyond the point of practicality to marrying them, people are nuts about their bikes.

So if even after all that, you're itching for a little bit more, why not run with it and take part in a historical bike tour of Boise?

Preservation Idaho's Bikes, Brutalism and Beer will take you and your bike around downtown to examine and discuss historical sites and architecture, followed by drinks.

Preservation Idaho President Dan Everhart will lead the tour, which starts at 6:30 p.m. and is $8 for members and $10 for nonmembers.
