Need Something To Do Friday?

Posted By on Fri, Sep 9, 2011 at 7:00 AM

It's an awesome workout, so it must be something everyone should learn to do, right? Right. Maybe. Because we're talking about pole dancing. Really? Yes, really. When? Tonight.

Don’t worry, you won’t be alone on your maiden voyage into the strange new world of swinging your sexy self around a pole. You’ll be in the company of your nearest and dearest girlfriends because this activity is an excuse for them to tag along for a girl’s night that includes exercise, fun and philanthropy—because saving lives is sexy.

The evening is a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Your $10 ticket includes a pole-dancing lesson and a raffle ticket for prizes from Ella’s Room and The Chocolat Bar, a date with Jimmy the firefighter, and a hot air balloon ride among other things. You can also get a manicure or massage while sipping an adult beverage if you'd like.

The sexiest part of the evening? All proceeds benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

The party starts at 7 p.m. at Ophidia Studio and you must be at least 18 years old to attend.
