Boise's Plate Will Spilleth Over at Tonight's Story Story Night

In case you actually ate so much you blacked out, Thursday was Thanksgiving—America's annual celebration of buffet-style eating and gaudy gourd centerpieces.

No slouches on thematic tie-ins, Story Story Night is jumping on board tonight by offering up an evening of stories on the theme Full Plate.

The event will showcase four featured storytellers followed by an open story slam, in which audience members take the stage.

From the Story Story Night website:

The featured storytellers for "FULL PLATE" are Chris Harrington, Kiley Crill, Edward (Mac) Test and Jocelyn Joundrey. Harrington hungers for a way out of a hiking trek. Crill attempts to digest the binges and purges in the life of a new grade school teacher. Test chews over the strange bounty of the Bering Sea. Joundrey gets more than a mouthful of what her mouthy grandma dishes out.

Story Story Night starts at 7 p.m. at the Rose Room and costs $5. It typically sells out, so get there early.
