Need Something To Do Saturday?

Posted By on Sat, Jan 14, 2012 at 6:00 AM

If you haven't heard, Boise Fry Company, that local spot that dishes up all sorts of French fry and condiment concoctions, opened a second location in Bown Crossing. The space that used to house Casa Mexico has been re-done with all sorts of green materials, including recycled wood torn down from an old barn.

You can help BFC celebrate its success today. The peeps from Highlands Hollow and Payette Brewing Company will be on hand, pouring tasty libations, and Hillfolk Noir will be making lots of ear-pleasing noise. The event's Facebook page describes the band as "a dark, country-tinged, swampy-swingin’, hillbilly-delta-blues-ragtime word machine."

So scope out the new digs, listen to some music, and grab some deep-fried tater goodness. The fun starts at 6 p.m. and goes until 10.
